The short version: your files stay on your device, and we don't sell your data.
Your files
Files you open in our PDF, image, video, OCR and AI tools are processed entirely inside your web browser. They are not uploaded to, stored on or viewed by our servers. When you close the page, they are gone.
Text and numbers you type
Calculator inputs, text in the word counter, passwords and similar data stay in the page and are not sent to us.
Video downloaders
When you use a video downloader (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest) or the YouTube Tag Extractor, the link you paste is sent to our download server, which fetches the video and sends it to you once. The file is deleted straight after, or within 15 minutes if you never download it. Our server keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address and time) to prevent abuse, and deletes them regularly. We don't keep a record of what you download.
Third-party services used by some tools
Some tools load public resources the first time you use them: the Background Remover and Passport Photo Maker download an open-source AI model from Hugging Face, and Image to Text downloads language data from a public CDN. The Internet Speed Test measures against Cloudflare's servers, What Is My IP looks up your approximate location with GeoJS, and Speech to Text uses your browser's built-in speech service. None of these receive your files.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads that keep the site free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors at aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com.
- Your theme choice (light or dark) is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
